Finally after almost 6 months of waiting - my son and I are going to received our green card soon! Thank you Jesus! I would like thank everyone here in this site - for your committment and effort to keep this website helpful, friendly, and very informative.

To all of you who are still waiting and in the process - keep on and don't give up. Read the instructions and just follow through. CSC is doing really a good job! :thumbs:

Did you get approved without interview?

No RFEs, no interview - I was expecting it - but none came....and an email just came in this morning - card production is ordered...

Hi mooninlove congratulations to you guys approval, did u submilt a lot of evidence ? because i did filed with waiver last December of 2008 and after that within 10 days i did my biometric, so now iam still waiting and i sent a lot of evidence... how long it will take me to hear something ? thank you very much .

Hi mooninlove congratulations to you guys approval, did u submilt a lot of evidence ? because i did filed with waiver last December of 2008 and after that within 10 days i did my biometric, so now iam still waiting and i sent a lot of evidence... how long it will take me to hear something ? thank you very much .

I submitted that I think were necessary (e.i., bank statements, employer's verification of my account - salary went to Ex-husband, address that shows we did had lived together, Tax returns of 2006 & 2007, a letter stating why & what happened to my marriage, affidavit of closed friends who knew my ex and then who knew me, emails, pictures,) my documents were huge and thick. And of course, I sent them a copy of the proceeding of the divorce and the final divorce.

I think, it takes CSC time to process our case (on a waiver base) coz of the necessary documents and background checks versus that applied as joint.

Just hang on there and your time will come soon. As the saying goes, "Patience is a virtue"

Well you could check bulanglang's timeline and othe I-751 filers and you'll get the idea of how long the processing is..After your biometric, you could or maybe not receive an rfe IF the USCIS believed you did not submit enough evidence. If of random, you could or maybe not be due for interview. Nobody knows. Just hang in there, relax and wait..Who knows, one day you'll receive an approval letter just when you thought it's taking that long :) ..Best of luck.
