Gooooooooood morning!!

What a fun and overwhelming start to the day! :P

I am Jessi, a US Citizen, and my fiance (who will be joining the boards as well today, I think) is a UK Citizen. We are recently engaged, had started to plan a wedding and then, after some research, realized it's not that easy! (Go figure :P) We just began the K1 Visa experience last night.

I've started gathering information and forms and documents and the surgeons for my right arm and left leg (:P) this morning with the hope of getting the process off to a rockin' start.

Any advice - especially the positive, happy, hopeful, upbeat kind - is entirely welcome. ^_^

(Oh, and, I'm hopelessly addicted to forum smiley faces. :D)

5/2010 - Sent petition for K1 Fiance visa to the California Service Center

8/2010 - Received NoA1

8/2010 - Received NoA RFI (more passport photos and another bio sheet)

9/2010 - Received NoA RFI (add'l bio information)

10/2010 - Received NoA2 - Approval

11/22 - Embassy received packet of forms/documents/etc.

11/23 - Medical Exam

It is indeed a complicated process, but it can be done. Good luck for a very smooth process and quick approval.

We look forward to seeing your posts in the future.

The best advice I can give you is to not try to get too far ahead of the process... just work on what is required one day at a time and don't get overwhelmed.
