Received second ASC appointment notice today. Is it normal???

The second one has different code and application number. But USCIS A# still same on both appointment notice.

What should I do now???

Thanks everyone

I went to the first one appointment on 1/14/2009 and also got biometrics processing stamp as well...

It could be that there was a problem with the first set of fingerprints and they need to have you redo them. The letter should say if that is the case but perhaps they sent the wrong letter. You might want to call the 1-800 line and ask about the matter. Ask to be escalated to an immigration officer because you need to know some specifics about a second scheduled biometrics appointment. Ask them to clarify the file numbers - give both numbers from both biometrics. They may also have mixed up files. If worse comes to worse, try to make the second appointment just in case it is a re-do.

I will give them a call tomorrow morning...

BTW, just checked online info. got the following info regarding code

Code 1: 8 Finger Prints

Code 2: Thumb Print, Photo, Signature

Code 3: Code 1 + Code 2

Probably, there was a problem with first appointment(Code 3). Otherwise, they won't send me another appointment for Code 2. So I am guessing USCIS needs my Thumb prints again..... photo??? maybe or even signature..... but why will they give me another application???

Sure, you can just go to ASC and they may be able to advise you. Bring both notices and your NOA.

I think the problem (Two ASC appointment letters) solved at least, but still confused. Talked to one lady at ASC on second ASC appoiintment day.

She checked my file in system, then told me:

Two ASC appointment could be an error

The system(database) even shows USCIS already receive my second appointment (I assume they transfer fingerprint from first appointment to second one). Otherwise, it will be scary.....

So she will not need to do my fingerprints and photo at all that day
