I filed for my wifes AOS back in November. She now has her work authorization and we are waiting on her petition to be granted. I am thinking of changing jobs. The new job would be temporary and not to exceed fourteen months (the pay is significantly higher though). Will this be a problem down the road when we have our interview for the green card? Will they ask? Should I mention it? Or is it not really a big deal. Ironically enough the temporary job would be with the federal government.

Thanks

not a big deal... if they ask then you tell them... besides this is a higher paying job than before so it should work in your favor if there was ever a question as to you support ability

YMMV
