So my wife has lost her passport (and thus her VISA and I-94)...our biometrics appointment was suppose to tomorrow, but i rescheduled it. We are going to head up to the Japanese embassy to report it lost and try to get another one created ASAP but what should i do about the I-94 and VISA? I have photo copies of both but will that be acceptable? Please help!!!

For biometrics, proper ID is all that is needed...

YMMV

I should have clarified...my wife passport was the only ID she had that was in English....also not sure if we need to replace the I-94 and K-1 Visa or if we can finish the AOS process without those?

From an ID standpoint you currently have an issue.... a new passport will resolve it....

We never needed the I-94/visa for any reason after submission of the I-485.... In fact I still have her I-94 in the filing cabinet
