Why only touch???

On January 23th our petition has been touched. We have not been touched since four month. I would like to ask you guys , what are the chances that we will be approved soon? Maybe someone has the same experience as we? Why they touched us and not approved? Some people who sent their petition month or more later then we, they have got approved without any touch. Why it is so mysterious? Who is controlling USCIS with this what they said about order of approved petition?

You got a touch because they have looked at your petition. An approval or RFE could follow. Just have to wait and see.

nobody can really explain how USCIS functions, they touched your file maybe for a background check, you filed in september there are others waiting befor eyou, so hang in there...

It's hard to say. Sometimes people seem to get touch after touch with nothing for ages. I've seen plenty of people here getting approvals after a touch when they've had nothing for months. It could also mean an RFE. You will probably know in the next day or two if it's either of the last two. Good luck!
