Wow you are ALMOST there! How many of us would be blow away with early processing by the VSC???

Chada and I set our expectations and budgets around LONG time estimates so how crazy would it be to get caught unprepared.

Wow what what an IGORS number? You are certainly affecting the curve with that one. :)

Good luck to you and get working on packet 3.

That's great. I will also probably get a RFE b/c I totally missed the letter of intent thing also  and only included a sentence at the bottom of my "how we met" page (question 18) that we would marry shortly after arrival at the court bla bla bla but did not say "within 90 days" neither do I have anything signed by my fiance saying that. By the way, for the letter your fiance signed, did you just send him a letter in English and get him to sign it and send it back? I ask because I imagine that would be a lot easier than having it in his native language and then translating it - even if he doesn't exactly know what it says, right? Also, does it matter if the 2 letters of intent are identical just with different signatures???

i sent him a document in english stating that he intends to marry me within 90 days of his arrival and he signed/ sent it last week. it's on its way to me snail mail as we speak. he printed and signed the G325A back in december, so that's here ready to go. hopefully, they won't need anymore documents with his original signature because it takes a good 2 wks for any mail to reach me from him, which is why i initially sent in faxed copies- big no-no. i learned so much from this forum. read everything and compare it to what you sent in. if you prepare now for what you think you could get an RFE for, you can have things ready and waiting. good luck to you and let's hope this only delays things wks and not months as some petitioners have experienced!

Hey listen, don't worry. :) Just send whatever information they are missing or any info. you need to correct. The sooner you take care of it, the FASTER you'll get your approval! ;) Don't worry... we are in a similar situation like you. They put our case on hold pending one form that they needed us to resend. We took care of it that same day & mailed it off. Now we're just waiting to hear back from them, HOPEFULLY with an APPROVAL! I was kinda sad at first, but then EXCITED after a short while because we took care of their request IMMEDIATELY & I know that they are working on it already! Our case was placed on hold until they receive it. :) Anyway, send in your required/missing paperwork & CHEER UP! BOTH of our approvals are on their way! I FEEL IT! :D Just have faith in GOD above. :D You're in my prayers! Good luck! May GOD grant us ALL a smooth & speedy approval!

it's an RFE.....i feel sick :dead: what hurts is knowing that if i didn't somehow screw up...i'd have been approved today

As it's been said already, not to worry. At least you know what to send back, and how, and once they get it, I'm sure it wouldn't be long before that beautiful NOA2. I also wanted to add that your spot on Igor's list is comforting to know, and that it would make sense to be prepared "just in case". We moved up 10 spaces from this morning. Still quite far down the list...but wow..sure seems to be going fast!! And I'm not sure I'm ready yet!!

If you're able to track your case online, ( you get your # from the back of the cashed cheque, or the NOA that was sent) and you track your case, if you see a new date, ( I think, don't quote me on this..lol) then it's a touch. I believe it may say "update" beside it. Hopefully someone else can clarify. Tim's doing all the tracking...and I'm doing all the writing!! See? We have a balanced relationship!
