Narina,

You made me laugh when you said they touched you by accident....

I only got touched once on only one petition. The other one has been collecting dust. They are probably taking so long to process it because they have to dust it off first. Maybe they can't read the case number anymore.

UGHHHHHHH

I called today too. Got two really nice reps. But they didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I'm about to e-mail the congressional office again. It probably won't do a damn bit of good but it makes me feel like I am doing something.

I get to see my hubby in a little bit more than 24 hours.

Have a wonderful visit with your husband, I bet your busting with joy and excitment . I cant wait to leave Houston for Paris Feb. 10th to see him again, its only been a week since I last saw him, but it feels like a eternity.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I'm starting to think if I withdraw my petition, and then re-apply I might get the second application approved sooner than the first one...

Don't do it

I almost did

We had the bigest fight the night before

I told him pull it we find a job here for you and forget we apply afterwards direct filling if we want to

I hit the all time low, with my husband

we mentioned true feeling about stuff we never said before, sacrifices we made for each other to be with each other

that we never told before

we where blaming one another

it got to a very very bad spot

no hope in sight anymore

And then the approval came

yet it didn't fix all the problems but the tension is lifted and the tendency to snap at each other went bye bye mostly

I went from all time low i was crying for hours

actually crying when the approval came in, then i Couldn't believe it and started shaking

AS FOR ALL OF YOU HANG IN THEIR

ESPECIALLY PARIS HEART, IT REALLY IS BAD TO NEED TO GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN I DON'T WISH THIS TO MY WORST ENEMY

BUT LOVE WILL PREVAIL, YOU SHOWED IT CAN

Sirendepity, thanks your turn will come soon

AND NARINA you should have gotten yours already

i hope you get it today still

Hugs

Thanks,

Yes I can't wait to see him. He was such a jerk last night on the phone. I was about to tell him to forget me coming on Saturday. He hung up the phone so I sent him a dozen text messages to his phone. He doesn't have international service so he couldn't fight back... HA HA. I haven't heard from him yet today but I know he is working so he might be busy and can't get a minute OR he is mad at me and isn't going to call at all.....

I am flying in to Houston tomorrow morning and then connecting to San Jose. I have to fly through the airport because my layover is only 34 minutes. I'm not even gonna talk about what will happen if my bags don't make it on my flight.... KNOCK ON WOOD !!

Jen- I wish you a very safe, comfortable journey! May you return to an approval!

Enjoy every moment. Don't let a fight get in the way. You know when you come back here, you're gonna miss him more than anything! So just drop whatever you fought about and pretend it never happened.

34 min layover? Make sure you get on one of those cart thingys and let them drive you to your gate. That will get you there faster. I always fly through Houston. Once there was a problem with my bag and I ended up being really short on time. They took me and I made my flight.

I just got this in an e-mail

We all can relate to Time Passing:

To realize

The value of a sister

Ask someone

Who doesn't have one.

To realize

The value of ten years:

Ask a newly

Divorced couple.

To realize

The value of four years:

Ask a graduate.

To realize

The value of one year:

Ask a student who

Has failed a final exam.

To realize

The value of nine months:

Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.

To realize

The value of one month:

Ask a mother

who has given birth to

A premature baby.

To realize

The value of one week:

Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize

The value of one minute:

Ask a person

Who has missed the train, bus or plane.

To realize

The value of one-second:

Ask a person

Who has survived an accident.

Time waits for no one.

Treasure every moment you have.

You will treasure it even more when

you can share it with someone special.

To realize the value of a friend or family member:

LOSE ONE.

The origin of this letter is unknown,

But it brings good luck to everyone who passes it on.

Do not keep this letter.

Peace, love and prosperity to all!

Remember...

Hold on tight to the ones you love!

WOW I just typed this really long response and it freakin' kicked me out. GRRRRR

My other response is out in LIMBO LAND--- CYBER SPACE hahahahahahaha

anyway, Thanks for the well wishes.

Narina, if you get your approval while Im in CR I will run to the corner Shell and buy a beer to celebrate. Maybe we will both get our approvals and I can buy a whole case of beer. My husband will help me drink it for you !!

My husband has had the worst luck lately. I know why he is in such a bad mood. He doesn't need to be a jerk though. What's worse is, when he gets pissed off, his English goes right out the window. Then he is even more frustrated. I think its cute, He hates it.

everyone argues or someone is lying  thats what i always say

we call ours "lazy arguments" or "fake fights" hee hee

ya..call him and start a fight maybe you will get a touch or approval

Do you think a one sided fight will work??? :hehe:

Even if I argue, yell, and scream, he doesn't say much. Just tells me to calm down and not be mad...

maybe if you talk calmly..he will start yelling lol

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I just talked to my hubby too. I swore up and down I was not going to be the one who calls but I couldn't help it. He was so happy to hear from me. He was busy so I have to call back in a few.

Narina, Don't cry. I feel really bad for you. I know how I feel and its been 7 months. You have waited much longer than me. You have every right to be mad, sad, depressed and whatever else.

Did you hear back from your congressional office? Did they tell you your file is not lost? Won't that ease your mind?

I believe you can ask the USCIS to do an inquiry on your case if you are out of the processing dates. Did you do that yet ?

Cheer up girlie.

Thank you. That made me laugh. I have cried so much today that my head is throbbing. I can't wait to go home. I don't like crying in front of others, but sometimes you can't help it. Once I'm home, I'm going to take a Flexeril and if I have any left, a Xanax and sleep until tomorrow. I'm too tired and sad to go on with today.

Jen, my "congressional inquiry" resulted in being told that they were working on April first... Yeah... Oh, and that my case has not been assigned to anyone yet, and it may take upto 60 days to be assigned. So NO I still have no idea if my physical hard copy of the petition is lost or not. It can say pending till dooms day. If no one goes and looks for the actual paper, then we'll never know, will we?

Not only is the light in my tunnel off, but the whole tunnel is collapsed and filling with water and I'm drowning in it...like that movie with Sylvest Stallone... can't remember the name of it.

He he he ... Please don't rely on the USCIS website..My status is still "Current Status: Case received and pending."

...try to call to the USCIS... And don't talk to reps rather find a way to talk to some supervisor..I have a silly but effective suggestion....When u call at USCIS, ask them to find a case file number is apparently a wrong one line EAC0823554521....they will then transfer u to the supervisor, even if they don't ask, u will ask that u need to talk to supervisor...when u r transfered to a supervisor, give him the correct number ask the status.... It worked when I send one of the VJ members through PM....why don't u guys give tries everytime u feel like calling to USCIS and have an inquiry :devil::devil: ....

Thank you...

Sonia

My date is in September of 08. I think I will take ur advice.....thanks.
