I think u will be approved by this week...and this will be under normal procedure....I really don't think ur expedite request is working...What does ur lawyer has to say about it?

HMMMM do you think my approval is coming this week? I feel like I have a black cloud over me. It follows me where ever I go.

My lawyer doesn't say too much. Only that we have to wait and see. ( as if I can do anything else) The e-mail I got from the congressional office said my case is being processed per the expedite request. But I don't know if that means they are considering the expedite or if it is being processed because they approved the expedite request. Nothing like being in LIMBO LAND. HAHA the roller coaster in LIMBO LAND.

I don't like this ride. I wanna get off now !! :rofl::rofl::girlwerewolf2xn:

I don't know why r they saying that they r processing ur case as of expedite request :blink: ... They are actually working on August/Jule/June filers.....

Yes, only it is an expedite if u see at the USCIS website timeline, which freakingly says that they have processed April 1, 2008...which implies even the late april filers can't even ask for a service request....

Weird though....Not promising at all....

Funnily, in bangladesh US embassy, some extremely rude bangladeshis work for US embassy (who thinks they r more than an american being employed at the embassy), I called them to know if my k3 package has been received by the embassy or not....

U will be surprised to know that, I could only say " My case.................." she said like a robot "we don't discuss cases over phone, either email or fax it" and she rudely hung up the phone.... I felt like, someone literally slapped on my face....

I heard so many stories of bangladeshis working Dhaka US Embassy behaves like animal.........It is just the starting I believe...long way to go with it....However, I heard of nice US COs in immigration interview, although it is a norm of US embassy to Hang up cases for a long time...

I am really scared now....Pray for me.....

I should have asked for the expedite a long time ago. I kind of think my lawyer should have advised me to do that. I am the one who is following up everyday and asking questions and making things happen. I am afraid to check the USCIS website.

I am praying for you !

I hope things move smooth for you in Bangladesh. It is amazing to me how they can be so rude. I guess they aren't being paid to be nice. Some day their rudeness will come back to them. When they need someething, they will get treated poorly.

Thankfully, I hear that the Embassy in Costa Rica is great. I had to go there once before when my passport was stolen. They were all very nice and they moved me along very quickly. I think because I am a USC. I was in and out. I took a number when I walked in and they called my number before I could even walk up the stairs into the building. The longest I waited was for the cashier to come to the window to take my payment.

Dear Sonia,

It's really not easy what we have to go through....but don't worry because everything will be all right, ok? I'll be praying!

Just think that now you have your approval in your hands!!

I've been dreaming about that. Dreaming with the word APPROVAL NOTICE.

Last week i had a terrible experience. I asked my lawyer to check what was going on and i emailed her my case numbers. Right away she sent me an email saying that it was approved since december 17th. I was so happy!! I couldn't even breath. But then i stoped and said: Wait a minute....i've been check this website twice a day and the first time my lawyer check she says it's approved...there's somthing wrong here.... I checked and realized that i gave her my case number with the last number wrong.....i was SO disapointed....Oh well, so after 2 minutes of hapiness i was back to may limbo life.

But guys.....maybe this week is our week!!!

I'm a july filler. I know a lot of people from april/may is still waiting. But as we had some august fillers aproved, i can be aproved too, right???

GREAT WEEK FOR EVERYBODY!!! :star:

Approvals are coming more randomly....well....last week, I saw myself with quite a few june filers to get approved, also couple of march, april and july filers as well...

Lets just pray to God that all of us can come out as quickly as possible from this freaking immigration mess.........

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

He he he ... Please don't rely on the USCIS website..My status is still "Current Status: Case received and pending."

...try to call to the USCIS... And don't talk to reps rather find a way to talk to some supervisor..I have a silly but effective suggestion....When u call at USCIS, ask them to find a case file number is apparently a wrong one line EAC0823554521....they will then transfer u to the supervisor, even if they don't ask, u will ask that u need to talk to supervisor...when u r transfered to a supervisor, give him the correct number ask the status.... It worked when I send one of the VJ members through PM....why don't u guys give tries everytime u feel like calling to USCIS and have an inquiry :devil::devil::devil: ....

Im praying for an approval this week too. But I doubt it because on friday I was advised that I wasn't assigned to an adjuticator yet :(

This is horrible, all the waiting for nothing :(
