2 rejections in visitor visa iv interview ahead

i ahve 2 rejections in visitor visa 5 years back but now i have a iv interview for Ir-1 through my children

is there chances of getting visa?

I'm no expert like some of the guys and girls on this site but in 2002, I had about 4 rejections for visitors visa to go and visit my boyfriend at the time. He is a USC and we were both students so it was unfair for him to come all the time. I live in the UK but am not british - hence needing a visa and not being able to demonstrate significant ties to country of departure.

Anyway, I started working in 2005 and got a visitors visa and have renewed it since then without any problems. We got back together soon after and see ourselves every 6 - 8 weeks. Got married in June 2008 and in fact since I put in my I130 in September, I have gone to visit him in the states 2 times without any problems.

The point of this long story is that I think they recognise that sometimes they reject people for reasons that are not permanent (for me - this was being a foreign student and not being able to demonstrate ties to the UK) and so you will be reconsidered in fairness with your currently circumstances.

I think. Can anyone back me up?

Psshhhhaaawww! I got denied entry (not just a visitors visa)...TWICE!

No worries! As long as you didn't break any immigration laws you are good to go.

my husband also was rejected way before i knew him twice i think, at first i wondered if that isnt why our first application was returned, but now he has visa so maybe it had nothing to do with anything
