My husband sent the US embassy in Cairo an email 4 days ago asking baout when my interview will be?

They replied him that was the reply :

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your e-mail message.

We received a complete set of the required documents from Ms.*********. We will schedule an appointment for her visa interview in July and send her a letter to notify her of the appointment date and time.

Regards,

Ok my question now is that email means my interview will be in July? I am happy but i don't know why in this process I feel Like Iam an idiot and even if things are CLEAR and SIMPLE you just try to mange to think it may mean something else ..

**I find it 's funny they called me Ms even though iam already married and my husband wrote I wanna know when my wife will get her interview

Yup, it looks that way.

Also, here in the US, Ms. is a term used for both married and unmarried women. Miss is used for an unmarried woman, and Mrs. is used for a married woman. I'm Ms. _____, and I'm married.

It seems they post their cases in batches. Just because your number hasn't been posted yet doesn't mean it won't be the next time they update. Check the website again in a week or two and eventually your case number will show up next to the date and time of your interview. Just try to be patient. Cairo is one of the largest American embassies in the world and they are very very busy. Welcome to the "Waiting Club" with the rest of us.

That's true I have been there 3 times I saw how busy it is ...That's why I Think they might meant they will just process my case in July and then send me when will be my interview ..not that my interview will be in July ...Is that what I should get from the email? I am confused? and I know I shouldn't be !:(

My husband's case number never appeared on the website. You have to be very patient with Cairo. Worrying about it will only cause you stress and won't improve the situation at all. If you don't get a letter in a week or 2, then call, but for now, just wait for it to come.
