hi.. im scheduled on feb 5 for my interview and im freakin out!!! im worried bout my chances on having my visa approved..

im a 25 yr old filipina, happily married for 1 year and 8 mos to a 27 yr old wonderful filipino, he's a naturalized USC.

enough on our background.. ;) here's my problem. we only have photos (more than 200), joint bank account, money transfer receiptsand few chat logs as proofs of a bona fide marriage. are these enough?

we've been communicating over the phone and he uses cards coz its cheaper so we dont have phone bills to show..

and since we're communicating over phone twice a day everyday, there's no need for us to communicate thru emails. do consuls ask for emails?

do we need more proofs? do we need a 3rd party affidavit as an additional proof?

also, ive seen in some very recent posts that they were asked to submit new affidavit of support and w2 2008 before their visa will be realeased.

my hubby doesnt have his w2 2008 yet and itr cannot be filed up until early february.

some says recent itr (2007) is ok coz filing itr will be until april 15 and waiting for the filed itr can result to delays.

i dont know what to believe. im sooooooo confused and im really really worried.

guyz please help me..

i need prayers too..

:(

we've been communicating over the phone and he uses cards coz its cheaper so we dont have phone bills to show.. iIt's a case-to-case basis, sis.. but if they ask for one, tell them why you don't have it..

and since we're communicating over phone twice a day everyday, there's no need for us to communicate thru emails. do consuls ask for emails? I had my interview last jan 9, they didn't ask for my emails nor chat logs and money transfer receipts. it is still depends on the pre-screener and CO..

do we need more proofs? do we need a 3rd party affidavit as an additional proof? As long as the photos you have has other persons in there, then you don't need it..

also, ive seen in some very recent posts that they were asked to submit new affidavit of support and w2 2008 before their visa will be realeased. Since, it takes time for your hubby to have it, showing the 2007 AOS, ITR, w2 and form 1040 will be ok. If he has the 2008 supporting documents of his AOS, then much better. If the CO ask for the recent one, explain to them that your hubby doesn't have it yet. Make sure that your hubby's tax returns are above the 125% poverty line for the 2 of you or more (if he has kids).

You'll be fine as long as you take as much evidence as you can with you the day of your interview, pictures especially and maybe a few chats and e-mails.

As for the financial documents, since you're applying for a CR1 visa, everything was already sent out and approved to the NVC, so you should be ok. If they ask you for your husband's 2008 tax returns, you can easily say that he hasn't filed them since we all have until April 15th to do so.

You'll be fine.

I had my AOS interview yesterday here in Cali, they did not ask for the W2 2008.
