It seems the USCIS webiste is sort of a CYA. They report that April 1 is the latest case they are working on but likely processing at June.

I filed in August, but there are people who filed after me who are getting approved and I am still waiting. So I guess it really depends!

Good luck on your journey

The USCIS website updates their website when they feel like it, and their charts are usually outdated and "cover all the bases" so that we can't call them and complain... from what I can tell they don't seem to follow chronological orders anyhow...

VJ takes the info from dates we've entered to generate a timeline which can only be as reliable as we are at filling stuff in... so take each with a grain of salt.... I know it's frustrating!

One way I tried to keep tabs on what was happening was checking here: Igor's List You can use the filters to generate what you want...

Good luck in your journey!

we applied in March and got approve in Dec. Vermont is not fast anymore they are very slow now and always update late, Some time in two months.

the date on Vermont is right and if you see it clearly just before the dates starts it's written "Service Center Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: November 30, 2008" and it was updated on 23rd Jan.

so you should be approve any time by this month. as and Indian i advice you to collect all your civil documents ready. so you don't delay when nvc require them. God Bless u

Arun

USCIS web site always seems to be WAY behind! We were just approved a couple of weeks ago. When I last checked it said we were quite a ways away! Definitely let the VisaJourney timelines to be your guide. I was approved within the actual time lines they recommended I should be.

Good luck!

A good rule of thumb is that all government organizations do not know what they are doing, so stick with VJ timeline, which may be off due to erroneous inputs, but if you have a qualitative look at the recent approvals in your application category at your service center, you will able to deduce a relatively accurate timeline for yourself. Always remember, these dates are moving targets...
