Hello Everyone,

I am new here, and I am happy to have found this site, as a matter of fact I found it last night. I could not seem to find it on many of my previous web searches through out the years, search results which were clouded with all those lawyer ads, lol.

I guess that when you are bound and determined to find the right information on the web you will probably find it. This morning I poured over visa journey and found all the pertinent info that applies to our case.

I want you all to know how grateful I am. Thankyou to the owners of this site, and all of you members for sharing your visa journeys with us, for your expierences and information has been indispensible for us.

About us:

I met my Peruvian wife in Lima Nov 2005 and we love each other immensely, Our wedding took place on December 6 2008.

Presently we are now embarking on that daunting task of petition for my spouses visa, and are in the preliminary stages gathering info for and completing the I-130, G325a's ie. and figuring out what other ducks we need and getting them all in a row.

June 26, 2009 Prince flies to America, arrives to JFK - exactly 18 months from the day we met!!

May 05, 2010 - mailed I-485

May 11, 2010 - text message stating application received

May 13, 2010 - NOA1 for AOS

May 17, 2010 - Biometrics letter rec'd

June 10, 2010 - Biometrics appt

August 03, 2010 - AOS @10:45 am - "conditional" approval pending corrected medical form by Civil Surgeon

Sept 8, 2010 - AOS Approved for 10 year Greencard!!!

2/24/09: NA02 APPROVAL... finally, after 9 MONTHS & 8 DAYS!!

5/5/09 : Interview Date APPROVED!!!!

5/8/09: visa received

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

AOS

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Here we go again...

09/14/11: Mailed I-751 to Vermont

09/19/11: NA01

10/14/11: Biometrics

7/2/12: Approved. New Card Ordered

I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview
