Timeline

Was there ever a case on here where the petition was refused by USCIS. So i mean not refused by the embassy in the homecountry. Just curious.

November 2008 K1 Petition sent to California

NOA1 12/16/2008

Requesting expedite on 02/16/2009

NOA2 02/19/2009

Pack 3 03/05/2009

Pack 3 sent back 03/17/2009

Pack 4 received 03/26/2009

Interview scheduled for 04/14/2009

Rejected...yes - common reasons: Incorrect Fee (or similar issues with payment) - not meeting basic requirements (not having met in person, still married/not free to marry) etc.

Not really - When a petition gets past the basic requirements, if there are any 'issues' - USCIS will likely issue an RFE (Request For Evidence) - for more on that you can check out the pinned RFE thread in the K1 Forum. :thumbs:

yea, it is rare that they just flat out deny you, if there are any issues, they will give you a chance to correct it by issuing an RFE.
