I still don't know when V-day is!

It's Feb. 2nd. A little Italian man named Valentino lived in the woods and one day his wife sent him off to get more flour to make pasta. You can probably guess how the rest of the story goes.

Venezuela does not celebrate or even recognize Valentines Day, good, I am off the hook. But then wife goes to work, and her co-worker gets a dozen cut roses hand delivered to her desk. And my wife gets nothing. It's not Valentines day, it's show off day. But could tell she was a bit depressed, so the next year, bring her a dozen and a half cut roses, but being money tight, delivered them myself asking the receptionists to bring them to her desk and getting her to swear that I wasn't there. Did make her feel good, but said not necessary, she doesn't like to watch cut flowers die in a couple of days with pedals dropping all over the floor.

Hell, being a man, can't win either way, but should be a law about sending flowers to public places.

They also have a Christmas party, wife is always spending ten-twenty bucks more on a gift so she won't be embarrassed, isn't it the thought behind the gift that counts?

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
