Hello fellow VJ' ers, i would like to thank all in advance for any feedback that will be given. Much appreciated

So we obtained our NOA2 a couple of weeks back while i was in the States, i just returned from Chicago last sunday and i am preparing all the information and evidence i need to obtain. I obtained myself a new passport as my other runs out in july and i have just sent off for my police certificate. I am preparing my ongoing evidence folder and realised that i will have a bunch of papers and folders to take to the embassy on the day of my interview. I remember reading that backpacks and bags were not allowed inside the embassy building. So i guess my question is, how the hell are you supposed to carry a copy of the petition, an ongoing evidence folder, original evidence from the petition and all the rest of it. i know this is a wierd question but i just want to get prepared as much as i can as i am expecting packet 3 through the post any day now.

Thanks alot

Nick took a document folder thingy. It's like cardboard or cardstock weight with accordian sides and some divided sections inside. He didn't put it in a big bag, just carried it in his hands. He put all the financial things in one section, passport photos and documents like birth and police certificates in another (with photcopies of them), appointment letter in front, etc. to be organized when they asked for something. He had one section of things that were "just in case" but probably not needed. Those things would be original petition if you have a copy, spare copies of DS forms in case they lost them and a very small folder of ongoing relationship. They never ask but since VJ warns you to have evidence we had two photos, one boarding pass, some UK train tickets and some theater tickets to go with a picture in front of the "Sound of Music" marqee. They didn't want to see any of that, so don't over-do it with pounds of relationship stuff or original petition things.
