Hello guys, my fiance just called me and told me that he got the letter of approval for our K1 Visa! Yeay!

I've been reading a lot of posts here but this is the first time I'm writing here.

Now, I just have a question. Is it ok to set a date now? It's Jan 24 now and we're thinking of June 27, 2009 for our wedding. Do you think that's possible?

I know there's still the interview and medical and all. I'm pretty healthy and law abiding citizen. :)

I'm just concerned coz everything requires a deposit and all are non-refundable. I just don't want to lose money.

Congratulations!!! :dance: I had hoped to get married June 27th too!! But that turned out to be a busy day for something else, so then we picked June 20th. However, judging the time line and everything..I said..."Maybe we better look into August".... :blush: I was a hopeful thinker that we'd get approval by March...LOL

Best wishes for the rest of your journey! I'm going with Vancouver Consulate too, so post how it goes!
