Joel and I aren't the jealous kind...but I have noticed quite a few girls giving him the "once over". Quite frankly it makes me feel ten feet tall that I have this gorgeous man holding MY hand and in love with ME! But I can sorta kinda understand that jealous thing...and I don't think it's retarded at all. Hugs dear!

I don't know why I find it difficult to just come out and tell my husband: "Honey, I feel needy tonight and don't want you to sit at your computer. Will you come sit with me and tell me how important I am to you? Will you cuddle me, squeeze me, and whisper silly ####### into my ear to make me feel special?"

I somehow always manage to communicate that in a horrendously roundabout fashion, which normally involves a look of utter perplexion on Brandon's face before he raises his arms in surrender, followed by a mild argument. Then the roundabout process ends with him asking, "OK, what is the real issue here, hon?" And then I trip over myself trying to say what I should have said in the first place.

I totally get what you mean here. I am the same way. Maybe it's the fact that sometimes I hate feeling that vulnerible or something, and I shouldn't, he's my husband. But there is no reason to be sorry for the way you feel. It doesn't make you retarded by any means, just human.
