ok looking for little gifts for arrival, so far a robe (maybe slippers) his own coffee cup from my work, what else??? we will go shopping for the shave, deodorants etc

Maybe calling cards to call his family. Make sure he has a good warm jacket, my poor husband froze when we went to visit Oklahoma during Christmas. Some good tea if you don't already have it. The Buy for Less at 23rd and Penn has some good arabic tea. If you are a fan a "Sooners" shirt couldn't hurt, I keep planning to get my husband one so he can fit it with my family, lol.

i am up and have to go to a mandatory meeting for a couple of hours. Have to leave my husband's side but it's ok my older two kids are going to "take care" of him anyway hopefully the appartment won't get burned down. Taught him how to use an electric oven whooooo hooooo now no excuses not to cook hehehehehehehe

Sorry you have to go to work so soon after he got here (even if it is only for a couple hours). I hope everything goes fine while you are gone My hubby learned how to use the electric stove too though he complains it is too slow to heat up. I prefer gas stoves myself but I just deal with whatever they have in the places I rent.

he has a osu shirt and my boss is going get the ou shirt, i will get him a phone and international is already on mine, i think the coats are covered ha, i have tea he will prob bring tea, the robe is ordered so hope it gets here in the next days so still need few ideas... how about some valentine undies ha

AWWWWWWWWw, sorry about the RFE. We got one in our AOS process and my husband's case got right back in track within a week or so. I am hoping the same for you as well!

I got mine a towel set to call his own, and a few shirts so there was something in the closet that was his when he got here.

Ok you people quote too much I tried to shorten it up a bit without hosing it but there were two posts I wanted to reply to here.

Brnid: Regarding the valentine undies, I did. He arrived Feb 13th.

Aymsgirl: That was nice of the guy to order the pots for your husband. Mine has adopted a certain pot for cooking his coffee in, and don't let him catch anyone using it to cook FOOD.

i just have the normal (for us) coffee maker filter, add the water etc i think tht will work unless he says different, he likes to do the tea, got the little pot for that
