I didn't see a group for the January filers - so I started one. I'm still waiting for the NOA1 from my 1_129F but I only sent that away two days ago.........

we have the same time line but we don't intend to file I-129F as we've noticed that in VSC the timelines for K-3 and CR-1 are almost the same and sometimes filing I-129F can delay the process, check the timelines and you can notice that.....wish you a smooth journey, by the way, can you check your status online on uscis website??? we've tried since we got our NOA-1 and it shows an error message

I didn't see the harm in filing both applications. I really have a very non-chalant attitude towards this whole thing now. After the disappointment from the K1, I don't think anything will suprise me now. I have lots of faith though that we will be together by the end of the year or early next year. I'm really just sitting back, relaxing, and most of all - waiting. And waiting is showing a lot of patients on my part.

And yes, I have been having trouble with the USCIS website and my receipt number. I called the customer service number and the lady told me that she would send something off to the help desk and I should check back next week sometime. Well I've been checking everyday since the call and up to now, nothing. I still can't get the case online.

I think if I can't get anything in about two weeks, I will call again.

09-18-10 - Hindi Wedding Ceremony

09-28-10 - Recieved Letter from USCIS Stating reasons for revocation

10-01-10 - Returned Package to USCIS will further evidence disputing the reasons the Embassy gave for revocation

11-17-10 - DS 230 and Immigrant Information Sheet returned to the Embassy

12-15-10 - Appointment Letter mailed out setting the interview Date for Feb 7th 2011

02-07-11 - 3rd Interview with the Embassy after USCIS reaffirmed the case

02-09-11 - Visa issued

02-11-11 - Traveled back to the USA - and our journey is finally over! A total of 3.5 years!

04-07-2009: Received bill

04-08-2009: Paid bills online

04-09-2009: Status shows paid for both bills

05-01-2009: Sent DS-230 and Affidavit of Support (Overnight Delivery) Lawyer took his time to fill everything out and delayed our process.

05-05-2009: NVC received package

05-11-2009: RFE thanks to the lawyer again and his assistant.

05-12-2009: RFE package sent to NVC

05-14-2009: NVC received RFE package

05-27-2009: Case finally complete!

K3 Visa

Welcome to all of you who are Jan 09' filers - I agree, let's keep in touch. I'm in Florida too....Fort Lauderdale. And congratulations on all of your weddings! I got married since October but it took forever for us to get our marriage certificate which of course delayed us.

new to the site, Im aussie, married my husband in Florida Oct 07. he is USC, we are about to file the I-130, as originally he was going to move here, but circumstances changed.

OK - if you got married to your husband here in the USA - why did you not stay and file the adjustment of status???? That would have been way faster than you going back to Austrailia. I think it takes about 6 months to get a green card that way. I may have missed something but I am curious now........
