HI,

I am a belgian citizen and am going to Apia ( western samoa) in April for 10 days.

Does anyone know if I need a visa to go for tourism?

I tried to look it up online , but it was all very confusing, and to call the immigration offices in Samoa but noone picked up.

Thanks for your help!

I am assuming you are a Belgian citizen and are not an American LPR.

National Belgium (BE) /Destination Samoa (WS)

Samoa (WS)

Passport required.

- Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid 6

months beyond the intended stay.

Passport Exemptions:

- Children under 16 years, if accompanied by a parent and the

name of the child is included in the passport of that

parent.

Visa required.

Visa Issuance:

- On arrival: if required, all visitors can obtain an Entry

(or Transit) Permit on arrival for a stay of max. 60 days.

For a longer stay, an application must be made in the form

appropriate to the purpose of entry.

Additional Information:

- All visitors must hold return/onward tickets, all documents

required for next destination and sufficient funds.

Thanks. So I don't need to apply for a visa before going there then right? I will be given one when I land? Is that correct?

Thanks!

What is your status? Do you have Green-card, or still in process to get a K-1 visa per your profile???

Even if you have a green-card you will need visa to visit there:

National Belgium (BE) /Residence U.S.A. (US)

Destination Samoa (WS)

NOTE: If you do have a K-Visa and have entered the USA and married, you WILL need AP document (I-131) IN HAND before leaving the USA, so Western Samoa is NOT a good honey moon destination for a K-1 visa holder.

Thanks. So I don't need to apply for a visa before going there then right? I will be given one when I land? Is that correct?

Thanks!

No advance application for visa needed, you can apply for one when you get there.

I am in the process of my K1 visa. Am waiting for my packet 3. But I won't be interviewed before I go, I'm just having the medical a few days before going to Samoa.

What about my fiance? He's american... Does he need to apply for a visa?

Thanks a lot!!!

Call their embassy and ask.

Or you could just take some bottles of Belgian beer with you to bribe the border officer with.
