I-129 Approved Worried about interview

My I-129 was mailed in on 8/12/08 and approved on 1/12/09. Waiting for NVC in New Hampshire now.

But now I am worried about the interview in Russia. Is it an interrogation or is it simple ? All my ducks are in a row and I think we are very normal.

Are they looking for a way to say yes or for a way to say no. One person I talked to said every interviewer is different but this statement only seems to make it a bigger mystery.

it is not an interrogation unless there is a reason for it to be oen... my wife's interview was about 5 seconds an zero questions.... just long enough to say approved and where to pay for the courier

YMMV

Provided you produced all the documents they ask for, it is likely to be completely anti-climatic. We also had a "no questions asked" interview which amounted to returning our original documents and telling us where to go to arrange delivery of the visa. It could, in no way, be described as an "interview" at all. It was one of those "I shaved my legs for THIS?" moments in life. I have not heard any terrible things about the Moscow consulate. Go to the consulate reviews section and check out what other VJers are saying.

For that matter, the AOS interview was little more. Other than formality type questions ("are you a terrorist?" kind of thing) and it was over in 9 minutes flat. And we were treated very politely and professionally in both the consulate and AOS interview.
