Hello,

I hope somebody can help me with this question.

I came to the US as student in Aug 2003 and I got married in May 2007 to a USC. We are filling the papers to adjust my status now since my visa will expire very soon.

My question is this:

In the Form I-130, section C they request this piece of information: Information about your alien relative: Your relative's address abroad .-

Should I indicate one?

I did not go back to my country Peru since January 2007. I used to rent a house before then but I do not have one anymore.

Should I put an address anyway, like my parents address for example?

Thank you!

Rebekah

Hi,

We did the same thing. When you start filing G-325A that's where you will be able to put your addresses of the past five years .

Hi Rebekah,

Just want to state this clear, on the I-130 Section C - Information about your relative, No. 2 address part, I put my current living address (where I live with my husband), and on No. 19 Relative's address abroad, put foreign home address.

So just make sure read everything clearly and answer correctly is fine! GOOD LUCK!
