affidavit of support question:

we received our NOA2 approval and case number on

jan 7th 2009,everything has been forwarded to

manila. My fiancee has been working her backside off

preparing, she is now ready to do her medical.

we have NOT set an interview date yet because she is

waiting for me to finish my I-134 form and proof of

support docs.

i started a new job in august 2008,i have recieved my

w-2 form from my new job,it states i made $13,569..

i also had 2 other jobs briefly, made around

$2000.00- NO w-2 forms yet!

i also hv a small pc repair business,i made about

$2000.00..

the total now being $17,569 for 2008,just above the

poverty limit for 2,barely..

2006/2007 taxes were both way way below due to

health issues, but i went ahead and got the

transcripts anyway.

My new job states in the notarized letter of

employement i make $37,500 annually,full time and

been there since august 2008.

im preparing my I-134 question 7 ask:I derive annual

income of:

do i enter my annual salary from my employer or do i

enter 2008 income?

i have all my check stubs for 2008 and 2009,letter

from the bank with statement of savings and

checking.

i also have about $26,000 in stocks and IRA.

Will there be any problems that may accure from my

income being so close for 2008 and 2006/2007 being

very low?

Its not likely i will be able to provide a 2008 transcript before her interview date, but i will try..will a copy of my 2008 1040 form and w-2 form, both notarized be adequate?

any comment please...thanks brad

Brad, You will be ok as long as you have a job right now and your annual income for this year is above 17, 500 for the two of you. We are in the same both when i was doing this-- but we overcome the problem and thanks God!-- Now my finace is on his way here ;)

Prepare the FF:

I-134

ITR for 2008

Emplyment verification letter stating your annual income and you are fulltime

Bank statement will help also ;)

recent pay stubs

Letter to the US embassy Manila explaining why your income was low and promise them that your fiancee will not be a public charge.

regarding the question on I-134 , supposed to be my annual income for this year is 37K and that is what stating on my employment verification but I only put 19K on my I-134 (which it tells in my last paycheck stub that i sybmitted)......its only put 19k because they cut the hours in my job but it supposed to be 37k. I have under the table job but i did not include that income.

If you have any question ask me ;)

Good luck!
