I'm trying to fill out the form I-864. I need and have a joint sponsor. I know that I need to fill out an I-864 form but which form does my Dad fill being my joint sponsor is it the I-864 or I-864A we all live at the same residence.

On form I-864 in Part 3. would I check (I'm sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2 above). and which box would I check being the husband but not qualified to support her according to pov level. would I check box (Yes) or box (No) Applicable only in cases with two joint sponsors, and which box should my Dad check being he is qualified Or should we both check yes

Father can use I-864A if member of your household, OR he can use I-864 as a Joint sponsor.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
