I had my first interview on Tuesday the 20th with my stepfather, Super nice lady..Everything was great until I was asked for some sort of receipt of me reimbursing the public school I went to for grades 9-12 and that I needed to bring a DAS letter confirming my entry back to Bogota and that it was in between the 6months they gave me. This wasn't a problem so i got this pretty much the same day and for the receipt thing they asked me I had my mother call my high school to get me a letter saying they did not charge students reguardless of their immigration status and its free.

Well I had my second interview Friday.

So and So again, the das letter was approved. i spoke with the boss of the place, she said 'I have good news and bad news, the good news is the das letter was approved and you can get your visa and papers, the bad news is you did not bring what I asked, and until you do you will not get anything'

Okay so my mom flipped out, we then called and searched all over and what we're missing is really to reimburse the schools, We entered the country and overstayed the visa, and we didn't file for an i-20 to be in the school so we have to reimburse that. The County told me I owe them $20,128 for my grades 9-12

My mother nearly had a heart attack again, With some family savings and all, its being paid on monday. The lady at the county told me that for all people that study illegaly in the US and are to get residency or a student visa they are to pay their debts, and that this is a major debt I have to pay to be guranteed my papers. So we are going to go with it,Monday it will be payed I will get my receipt that the consulate is asking and call to get the interview again, Hopefully this time is as fast as my first request, which was for the next day.

The boss at the consulate guranteed me my visa with this receipt because everything was fine, So I'm kinda sad and happy because I was guranteed something.

(My stepfather had to travel today back to Miami, I hope to god he is not required to be there since they never stated anything and me being 18 now)
