Hi. my fiancee is currently working in Saudi Arabia but will be going home to the Philippines by August and

Im planning on applying for the K1 this February (right after my oath ceremony),

does she need to be in the Philippines for a certain period of time before the interview?

Does she need to be in the Philippines when they send the packet?

and how long before the interview do they usually send that?

if she wont be in the Philippines before August, should I hold off my application?

Thanks for any help

You timing is about right if you do not run into any significant issues or get processed two quickly.

You/she can already get everything that you will need for the embassy interview via the internet at http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html

There is no duration that she needs to be in the country but she will need to take medical exam at St. Lukes with at least a 2 week gap between the exam and the interview.
