No they wont contact you about the I-864 unless there is a problem. Once they have the DS-230 and all the documents they will review all the paperwork and complete the case, At that time they will tell you that all the paperwork has been accepted.

All you can do is get the DS-230 sent as soon as you have all the documents.

I did not include photocopies with my original documents but I know some people do. As long as you send the original that is what NVC asks for.

I did take a photocopy of everything I sent to NVC just so my parents would have a complete copy of all the papers filed.

The AVR will say that your case is complete. You will get a email with a interview date and further instructions. Keep phoning NVC and talk to a person as the AVR can be days behind.

Call back and speak to a officer. It could be a false RFE if they have not yet entered into the system your returned documents. That happened to me, I spoke to the officer and she told me they were missing the DS230 I told her I had mailed it to them and I know it had been delivered, she told me that it can take a few days for the documents to be put into the system.

I called back next day and the officer told me that they had been put into the system.

You need to include the letter you got from NVC it has a barcode on it, which makes sure the correct person get the documents you have been asked for.
