Just make sure you do the change of address with the post office, so in case you don't change your address with the NVC on time, you still get your mail forwarded to your new address.

Next steps at NVC would be:

-Choice of Agent Form(s) DS-3032

-$70 fee for both parents

-Affidavit of Support Form(s) (I-864 and/or I-864a)

-$400 fee for each parent

-Form(s) DS-230

Make sure you read the James Shortcuts, they're a little outdated but it will give you a good idea of the NVC process. Also read www.immigrantvisas.state.gov that's the official website to help you with the process at the NVC.

Thanks Pikaraz for your suggestion. Now i am out of worried. Where to look James Shortcuts? And Do my parents need to make any kind of documents for interview like police certificate? And do i need to make two set of Affidavit supports?

Yes your parents will need police certificates and yes you will need 2 sets of Affidavit of Support and 2 sets of DS-230. Also have a read of this link to better understand what the NVC do.

Email to this address NVCINQUIRY@state.gov and you can use this template for your email http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form Just copy and paste into your email client and then fill in your information.

You do not need to send in the hardcopy if you have emailed NVC but some people do. I did not bother with the hardcopy.

I sent them both from my email address. As my parents were unsure of doing it and we wanted it to be right. I did not wait for the DS3032 from NVC as soon as I had the case numbers I sent the emails. They were accepted 5 days later.

What about DS-230? Do my parents have to sign the from and send to me? At the mean time I want my parents to make necessary documents which will be needed in the process. What about the employment letter from my company, do i need to make 2 letter from my company?

Yes your parents need to sign the DS-230 so get them to do it and sent it to you so that you can be ready, you will also need all the Original documents they ask for.

You will only need 1 copy of the letter from your employer. What you have to do is put a photocopy in one parents forms with a note to say "Original held in Case # ***2009****** " You can do that for both the AOS documents and also for Your Parents marriage certificate and also your Birth Certificate and Marriage certificate that you will need for DS-230.

What I did was put all the originals in my Mom's packet and the Photocopies in my Dad's packet all with a Post-it note saying "Original held in Case # " That is what one of the officers at NVC told me to do.

I had no problems doing that.

That's so clear TayRivers. Thank you. I hope you're still around when my time comes to process that stage @ NVC. Right now, i am still waiting for any progress at USCIS. Wonder how long they'll process mine..

hello, I am just trying to go through the I-864 for my parents. Do i need to fill 2 I-864 or only one. About part 2 and part 3, which one should i fill. can u guys help me for that...
