wait 4-6 months to get petition approved(NOA2=notice of action 2).I filed for my mom on july 07-2008 ,it got approved on december 31-2008.once ur petition will get approved ur case will be transfered to National visa center=NVC

I am filing for parents. I have a timeline on my profile. I think I got very lucky but it only took three months for me to get their I-130 petitions approved.

I have 2 petitions running at the same time, I have not posted 2 sets of dates because they have been processed either together or a few days of each other.

Their cases will be sent to NVC. you need to go read the shortcuts for NVC, you will find it in the wiki section. These shortcuts will save you a lot of time.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to move new apartment on June 12. How do i chage my address.. I am worried. Do i have to change adress on USCIS or have to cnange to National visa center. I think now all documents will send by NVC. How to inform them.. Waiting ur help and suggestions.. Thanks.

Once your parents cases have been entered into the NVC system and you have their NVC case numbers just phone the NVC and speak to a officer they will help you change your address.

Thanks. But i have 14 more days to move new address. Will I will get NVC case number in 14 days from NVC coz i got a NOA2 approval letter tomorrow and i am moving to new place on June 12. At the mean time what kind of documents do i need to prepare for the next steps and what about my parents back in Nepal..
