My fiance don't have his w2

My fiance don't have a copy of his w2. He doesn't even have his 2007 w2.

Last September 2008, he resigned from a job in Chicago and got a new job in Indiana.

We're kinda confused about which company should he get his w2. It's only few days to go before my visa interview and we feel down because we lack that one document.

I fear that the consul might deny our visa application because we lack W2.

Need help...

I don't recall the W-2 being necessary proof for the I-134. Instead, a bank statement and proof of employment of self-employment is needed - in the case of the former, a letter from the current company stating full-time position, salary and start date should suffice.

No problem. It is not until your U.S. spouse files the I-864 in preparation for your adjustment of status that he will need to provide more detailed informaiton about his citizenship, sufficient income to exceed the U.S. minimum poverty requirements, and at the very least, the most recent year's income tax return, among other requirements.
