Hi friends,

Pls. just need advise. I'll be flying on 28th. I got my e-ticket from a travel agency (ana tours and travel_really cheap)

they said that all taxes are included in a one way ticket from manila to kansas Mo ($698).

Now this is my question, what are all other taxes (1220pesos i think) that people here are talking about asside from the 750pesos?

And do i need to pay for a luggage check? if so, here or in u.s. and how much?

Pls. pls. give me advise.

thanks,

jazz

i believe if you buy your tickets abroad, then you have to pay additional taxes like mine... hubby bought in the US so i have to pay phil taxes per se... for the luggage, it depends on the airline, usually you dont have to pay here in the US (based on my experienced twice) if its an international flight coz of the bigger allowance... although w/ the new rule, some airline might... its best to contact your airline... good luck and happy trip!!!

God bless!!!

You pay an exit fee. I understand it has gone up a bit since I was there last. I think I paid about 600p but know it is higher than that now. Try googling it. Also, if you are over weight or have extra luggage you will pay for that, Claudeth's cost an additional $70

Hi,

There is an airport/terminal fee of 750 PHP always.

There might be an addtional fee for travel tax(VAT) depending on where the ticket was purchased. You should check with your travel agent to see if they included this tax. I suggest you have enough money with to pay both though. Here are a couple of links with some info:

Hi Jazz, since you bought ticket in travel agency in Philippines, that means all taxes are already paid...what are you going to pay is just the P750 terminal fee...

regarding the baggage fee, you will pay nothing as long as your baggage doesn't exist on the allowed weight for free...remember that airlines only allowed 2pcs luggage with 50lbs each with a carry on of 14lbs...

HAPPY TRIP!!!

I;m happy they helped you and get a very good deal of ticket...
