Have you tried looking at your case status online with your NOA1 receipt number? You should also call the USCIS number and speak to a supervisor to see if there are any updates to your case.

Are you in Administrative Processing? Is this why she filed it? I think everyone needs more info before they can help.

I dont know about the I-824, except that it basically asks them to look at a case and give you an answer as to what is going on, right?

Good Luck. I hope someone comes along and has some experience to share.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

hadi

it sounds like your in administrative processing....... as you can see with mine much longer than 6 months but i did not file for k3 ... You did have the interview? right?

I have inquired by email and mail to embassy to congressman and to senator.... It IS frustrating and difficult but i believe by law they do not release information on the case other than to note that it is in processing...... i can only suggest to keep inquiring...

Post more information for everyone maybe someone on k3 can be of more help

Best of Luck
