Recieved NOA2 but website still says "received and pending"

Hi,

After 137 days (130 if you go by the approval date on the NOA2) we were approved. I received the letter today (1/23), it says we were approved on 1/16, and the website still says case received September 8th and pending... So, I guess to those still waiting watch the mailbox closer than the website.

Anyways, I am very happy.

am also in this kind of situation. am an august 14th K-1 file . we got approved on the 16th and got the hard copy some days ago but the website still says pending! am soooo happy Thank God!! wishin all others waitin the very best!

One of my friend who apply for K-1 visa, her fiance sent I-129F to VSC on 2008/8/8 and got Noa1 on 2008/08/19..She waiting for Noa2 about 155 days but notthing happen..So her fiance send fax to Congressman about the case on 2009/01/23 then congtressman ,,Later at same day the congressman called back to him and said he got Noa2 since 2009/01/21

but my friend and her fiance didnt get any email from CRIS or even touch..Did someone get NOA2 without touch or email????

The same thing happened to us. The CRIS website says that the I-129F application is still pending, but we just received the NOA2 today in the mail. Snail mail is faster, who would have known!

And this makes reason number 1,236,893 (and counting) never to waste your time with government timelines. The information you get here regarding that is far more accurate, I will bet the 130 days is much closer to your VJ estimate than to the government timelines.

Congratulations, I hope you have already downloaded and prepared packet 3 so you can make the interview the same day the consulate puts this case in their system.

Congratulations!!! Glad to see so many Vermonters getting their NOA2's!! You've all been waiting long enough!!
