I started another thread asking about my particular situation: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry2591073

I'm glad that I found this thread though or I may have never thought about it. Congrats on your good news and thanks for the help.

I've just read that your trip is a cruise... maybe it is different on the water you know what I mean? The security may be more lay back...

I think that indeed calling to ask is the best way to be sure you''ll stay out of trouble.

If the cruise is going to another country, i.e. Bahamas then customs is in full effect. I believe that if it's a cruise to no-where you should be ok, but I would definitely double check that!

How was your interbiew Blart?

Mine was so..... SHORT!!!!

It started wrong as we had to go back to our car twice : one to bring back the coffe mug in metal and the cellphone, another one for our gps and mp3 player...

Then we were waiting in the room and people arrived after us were all being called before us. I started to stress a little especially Hubby was upset with this go back and force tot he car, and when he is uspet, he has a hard time shuting up about it (I didnt wanna get in trouble...)

Finally an agent called us ( only 15 late, not too bad)

She was actually very nice, she asked our ID's, we joked about the fact that I am doing my driving practice and hubby is scared about teaching me..

Then she asked him name, date of birth, birthplace, then my name, date of birth, mom's name and wedding date.

She asked if we had both been married before, I answered no and hubby yes... Big stress ( he got married but it got cancel 3 months later when he was 20, he told me he did not know where those doc were so not to mention it when I filed, and now he talks about it at the interview!!!!!!!!). He explained it had been canceled, not sure which date or what just that it was in 2000. She wrote it down.

Asked for us to show some more bills etc to proove we live at the same address. asked how we met (2 mn talk about E harmony) and then said:

OK, I am gonna approve your green card, it will be in the mail in about 2 weeks!!!!!!

I could not believe it!! No personnal question at all, no look at pictures or anything... no request of finding more doc and sending them for the canceled wedding!!!!

The only thing that I did not like is that she kept my Employnment card saying it was a temporary thing until I get my green card, so now I just hope the card arrives fast...

Did they keep your green card too???

When do you receive the welcome email on their website?

Anyway, I am glad it is over, a lot of stress for a really easy and lay back interview!!!
