:wacko: Claire and I are having difficulty finding the fee amounts that will need to be paid at the interview. We've searched and searched online to find how much she will need to pay in pounds or dollars. All we know is that there is a fee to have the visa sent by a courier.

We also aren't sure if the Embassy gives you a date for the interview or whether she has to call and schedule it herself. We got the petition approved and sent to the Embassy in December and we sent in the checklist as well as getting the medical done but we haven't received Packet 4 yet with the interview date. Can someone give us some guidance?

Thank You,

Adam & Claire

$131 for the visa, and a shipping fee if you have the visa mailed to you.

This has nothing to do with citizenship, moving to consulate/embassy forum

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Thank you so much. We also realized the time. We just mailed in Packet 3 not long ago. Will the Embassy get us an interview before the petition's validation expires? If it does expire, what happens then? Does she still just go to the embassy interview anyway? or do we need to get an extention first. The expiration is March 11th. Does she have to pay the 131 in dollars or can she pay in pounds?

I found this answer for my question:

The I-129F petition is valid for four months from the date of approval. A consular officer can extend the validity of the petition (revalidate the petition) if it expires before you finish processing the visa.

$131 for visa & £14 for courier

The USE will send out pkt 4 which is the interview date unfortunately you can't call them to schedule, although if pkt3 was completed and returned in December you should have heard something by now.

Call DOS to see if an interview has been scheduled, way cheaper than calling the Embassy!

If the Embassy have scheduled the interview for after the I-129F expiration they will extend it.
