how long does it take after it leaves nvc to go to embassy?

Write now we are in the same situation. It left nvc however she has not receive anything from the embassy. I would to know how long does it take for to receive this package. We started gathering all the things she need. I wonder after we got every thing can we call the embassy asking for an appointment or we still have to wait?

sent out 129f 8/10/08

received notification on aug 8/13/08

approved 12/15/09

received notice from NVC 12/19/09

still no package 1/21/09

Depends on which consulate it is going to.

If China, the standard transfer time is 3 months NVC to Consulate "Received"

Yes, it totally depends on the embassy the case is being forwarded to. For Colombians for example, it takes about 3 business days.

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

it is being sen to the philippines embassy!
In this case it is received a few days after sent out by NVC.

It took a couple of weeks before Manila validated they had the petiton.
