I received a letter today for more information. It say, on my I-129f pg.3 part c. question 2 I forgot to check yes or no. It's if you have ever been convicted by a court of law for any of the following crimes. My question is this.. It has the question and a place for your answer on the blue paper they sent me. Do I check yes or no and sign this.. on the blue paper.. or do they want a whole new I-129f filled out and sent in? I appreciate any help.

I got the exact same RFE a while back. Check "yes"or "no" or write in "none" as appropriate and then sign and date it. You do not answer on the blue paper unless they specifically give you directions to answer on the blue paper because the blue paper is the actual notice for the RFE and it needs to be mailed back as the cover page with the RFE. I received the blue page and then a separate page with the questions ( a copy of the page from the I-129F) with the questions they needed answers to circled in red pen. I marked "no" and "none" as that was appropriate for my case and I signed and dated at the bottom, enclosed the blue RFE sheet on top of that paper and mailed it right back to CSC the same day. DO NOT fill out a whole new I-129F unless they specifically asked you to. ONLY DO AS THE DIRECTIONS TELL YOU.

Hey at least you know they are working on your case now. I know you would have much rather wanted the NOA2 but the RFE at least lets you know your paperwork isn't lost. Won't be long now! :thumbs:

Thank you for answering, but they didn't give me but 2 blue sheets. First one says, The notice contains my unique number and must be resubmitted in the original with the requested information. After I have complied to resubmit the notice and all requested docs and information.

1. The documentation submistted is insufficient. USCIS requires certian initial docs in order to process your application. Please respond with the evidencerequested on the attached page. ** the only other page i received is another blue page with: One or more fields of the I-129f was not completed. Please provide the follwoing:

Page 3 Part c. Question 2:

2. have you ever been convited by a court of law for any of the following crimes;

Please indicate yes or no

Signature:

This all I received 2 blue pages, should I print off another I-129f page they are requesting and JUST answer that question since they didn't include one in my letter?

Yes, i'm grateful they are working on it and I cried when I saw the letter could barely open it up. I wish luck for all who's waiting to hear something and I hope it's all good news when you do.

No, do not print out another I-129F page. Just fill out the information on the second blue sheet where the question is written. I did not mean to make you confused... :blush: . I only got 1 blue sheet (the RFE notice) and a black and white paper copy of that question page from the I-129F petition, so that is why I said don't answer on the blue sheet. But now that you have given me more information, yes, fill out the answers on the second blue sheet as instructed and then mail back the cover blue sheet and the blue sheet with the question and your answer and signature. You don't need to print anything, just answer where instructed and send back both blue sheets ASAP!

Good luck and may you get a speedy NOA2!

:) You are very welcome. I mailed mine back the same day I got it...anything I can do to make the process faster on my side...and yes, I also had only 14 days to respond to it as well.
