Hello all,

I filed for removal of conditions for me my wife and her son in November. They just sent us an RFE asking for more evidence.

Here is a list of what we already sent them:

1. A copy of our new car purchase contract and registration.

2. Records of joint checking and savings accounts.

3. 2 affidavits from witnesses about our marriage.

3. Letters received to our address (Credit card bills etc)

The problem we are having is that we don't have anything else on both of our names (DWP, Gas and/or Cable bills or credit cards) because everything was under may name when they came here and we didn't change it. What to do?

Also, when I call their telephone number (1800-375-5283) they state that there are customer service reps online but I couldn't get one.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did they specify what additional evidence they want? I didn't see joint tax returns listed in your items and that should always be included.

Oh yes, I forgot to add that I included our joint tax return from last year. They are not asking for anything in particular, they included the list that comes with the regular instructions for evidence and that includes everything.

How about auto insurance for the new car that you just purchased?

Main imp things is that do you have any morgate of joint property residence or rental lease signed jointly for your residence as this would be an imp evidence that thay may be interested in besides other.

Did you cover all the period that you have been married? You said you included tax returns for last year, perhaps they want evidence over time

All the evidence you send should cover the period from when you were approved for the Conditional greencard up to now.

Make sure you include IRS transcripts for each year you have filled as married. You also need to include evidence of your joint home, Mortgage papers/Rent agreement, also send information about joint health insurance, 401K beneficiary statement showing each other as beneficiaries. Utility bills even if in just one name, it shows same address. You can also include information about any vacations you have taken together. Photos of you both at family events and with friends. Joint membership cards for any clubs or shops you belong to and dont forget joint bank statements.

Your initial evidence was very light so they are looking for all the evidence you should have included when you filed.
