I will buy clothes, though not as much as I'd like to (and I love to shop). We have to take care of the essentials first - clothes shopping is toward the bottom of the list unfortunately.

Definitely gonna shop and buy clothes this year. I think the article is made from a man and polled a group of men. That many women would not be serious about not shopping.

I usually buy clothes when I am bored with what I have, but at the same time....I do set limitations and never go overboard. I love Macy's and I usually find excellant deals there.

To Blessed to be stressed:) I realize that all things have a purpose and a time.....have faith and the Lord Almighty will provide... when the time is right, he NEVER fails!

I will be depressed if I don't. I like to add to my wardrobe, just not blindly though and I will probably wait till I am back to my normal size and then its shopping time!!!!! Till then buying a few every now and then for the hubby, baby and doggies :D

My clothes shopping is limited for now to nursing bras and hospital gowns (thats not counted)

I rarely 'plan' to buy clothes. A 'plan' would be like for a special event or a trip.

I do indulge in 'retail therapy' and this, of course, occurs with no plan but it based upon the days events ie bad day at work equals shopping. :P Fortunately through an intensive twelve-step program I have learned to seek this therapy at one or two select off-price retail outlets and limit my cleansing to $20.

I know it's a generalization, but I thought women can't resist a good bargain.

Many of us can't :)

I remembered this thread as I had some retail therapy of my own. Two shirts at JCPenney for $10! I couldn't resist...
