G-325A, Biographic Information, Question

I have two questions before sending my package.

1) at the top of the page there is the "File Number A"... what if anything goes in here if you are a U.S. Citizen? if you finace'(e) is not a U.S. citizen, what goes there?

2) At the bottom of both pages is the Bold Applicant: Box stating to "Be sure to put your name and Alien Registration Number in the box outlined by heavy border below." Again, if I do not have an Alien Registration Number because I am a U.S. citizen, what if anything goes in the block for me and my Fiancee'?

I read almost all the post up to about page 200, sorry if I posted a question that has already been answered. Thanks Payato

If you are a U.S. citizen, you don't have an Alien number.

I left it blank.

When you get NOA1, your fiance will be assigned an Alien number.

Thanks, That is what I thought, just wanted to make sure before I sent the package in. I assume the USIC will assign the Alien registration number because the initial package requires my fiancee' s 325A?

Under file number A, I put down NONE. Make sure to double check your forms with the examples available from this website, they are a great help and really come in handy, click on where it says, EXAMPLE FORMS, good luck, I'm about to send in my forms also

Yes, this site has been a great help. Especially the example forms. That was my only question as most of the process, with some reading is retty simple, just a lot of data gathering and waiting. Payato

Ok that answers the File Number A block but what about the bold Block at the botom of both pages? Does my GF just fill in the name and leave the Registration number blank because it has not been assigend yet? Payato

Not quite true - many US citizens do have an A#.

If you are a US citizen by birth in the USA then you almost certainly do not have an A# (I can't think of how you might have gotten one, but there are a lot of things that I don't know so I won't say for certain).

If your fiancee has never had any dealings with the USCIS in the past (such as a previous beau, employer, school, or maybe something else) then she does not have an A# either - but she will once you submit your petition for her.
