Just wanted to vent... I did not receive the biometrics appointment yet and I'm starting to get worried.

If it get lost in the mail and I dont show up, will I be denied or something???

It takes a while to get the Biometrics appointment...sometimes even 2 months. And from what I saw on your timelines its been a month barely sinc eu sent the AOS package

My wife's took awhile. (See the timeline below) Also, my wife ending up getting an appointment sooner than someone who filed earlier than us. So, there is really no good indicator on when you will get the appointment.

Don't worry too much (I know thats easy to say!). Mine took just over a month to arrive and my timeline is pretty similar to yours. Just keep an eye on that mail box!

I have to admit that is kind of weird, as they recieved my application May 22nd and already had my biometrics june 10th. I know it does take more time some people so i guess all you can do is wait, or perhaps try to get ahold of someone (usually a waste of time, i know, but worth a try).

Stina, I saw when you got yours and then I started to check the timelines and for my surprise ppl started to get their biometrics and mine nothing...

Ill give some more time, but if I dont receive it in 1-2 months, Ill be freakin out...

What can happen if it get lost in the mail and I dont show up for the biometrics??? Anyone know???

16/05/2006 AOS and EAD sent off to the windy city. ( day 1)

27/05/2006 NOA's received...woo hoo !! ( day 12 )

09/06/2006 Appointment letter for biometrics arrives ( day 25 )

30/06/2006 Biometrics 11am at Spokane ( day 46 )

My husband didn't get his biometrics letter until after month 2, even though other people who filed the AOS at the same time got it earlier. I wouldn't start worrying until day 90 after the NOA1.

my wife recieved the biometric appoiment letter saturday so it will arrive soon and from Newark too

They sent me to another local office right after the interview last week and I had them done then. Unfortunately, now I don't know whether I was approved or not but I guess I was (since I never did anything bad so my background is clear).

Removal of Conditions Timeline:
