pls help my bag was snatch (passport/visa was inside my bag) not included my visa packet ina brown envelope. what will i do now? my visa will expire feb 11, 2009. i suppose to leave the country feb 5, 2009.should i call the us embassy?thanks...

If it was a US passport yes you need to report it as soon as possible and they will help you out. Tell them exactly what happened. - J

Did you report it stolen (filed a police report)? I am sure you can get a new passport (assuming you are Filipina and still in the Philippiines) in much the same manner as you received the first one. Replacing the visa will require returning to the US Embassy. They may require some proof that you lost the first one (and may ask if a report had been made that it was stolen). Contact the US Embassy to find out what they will require to replace the visa.
