Just like everyone else, I am starting to get antsy. According to the stats, we can expect our NOA2 somewhere around the end of February. Then, again according to stats, the interview date should be 5-6 weeks after that, probably early April.

Now I actually managed to get a cheap flight to the US for March, going to visit my girl once again. I was just wondering, if anyone else around here(from Germany) already received their interview package or did the interview...

What documents do I need that I might need to prepare / get up ahead of time?

Do I need my birth certificate, criminal / police record (blank ;) ), any kind of financial documents, proof of education?

What are the financial requirements?

What do I need from a sponsor if I don't meet the requirements myself?

Thanks a bunch, have a great day!

Take a look at the guides link at the top of the page

Thanks jasman, I'd already done that though... I was hoping to get some more specific info. For example, I didn't see a specific amount of USD in the section about the finances/affidavit of support/I-134... it just said "125% of the poverty level"... Anybody got a number here?

And I couldn't really find anything about the contents of the interview package aside from including the original I-129F package.

I've just heard unofficially that you need a police record, birth certificate, probably the vaccination records for the medical... Can anyone confirm and tell me if anything else is required?
