My point is, if they claim to be treating all cases professionally then why would the ethnic background of a person be brought up? iTS THE SAME AS RACIAL PROFILING. The agency is saying they only want mainly europeans coming in this country because europeans are white and "pure" in the mind of America. I see there are complaints about black people being racist, because blacks are always called racists whenever they point out bigotry and prejudice. I'm sure no one would have a problem saying "All black people steal" but if i said "All white people steal" then there would be a conflict. This is a sad world we live in, its ok to label all non-white "impure" people, but if the "pure" white community is labeled than there is a problem. I saw a silly comment about how i should go to russia if i don't like it here, WHY DON'T THE REST OF YOU GO TO THE COUNTRY YOUR SPOUSE COMES FROM AS WELL? You are going through this process to stay here with your spouse because you say you love them, but you really just want to be here because you think america is better. America is the same bigoted hate monger it has always been, making sure the white people are treated better first and foremost and then trying to compensate for everybody else with special programs and handouts, still evil. That's why France or Ireland or Canada will have no problems getting a visa because they are very white, but of course the "high fraud" rates have to be in sub-saharan africa because that's where black people come from. Racists are defended by freeodm of speech laws, to protect white supremacy and keep white privelege alive. That's why the kkk is allowed to make death threats to blacks and non-whites on their website on a daily basis. Mainly my husband gets comments like "why are you with that black girl?" because white people truly believe they are special and better than anyone else and they believe black and ethnic people are sub-human. As a couple, we are considered "abnormal" by people because most whites believe that my husband who is white is supposed to hate me and marry a white girl. My husband does not hate me and strangely he was not raised with the typical white social beliefs of superiority that most whites are. Our uphill battle is dealing with people who can't understand why my husband would mate with a sub-humanoid. So everything we do is "questioned" because i am not white (white is considered normal). This country could be a paradise for everyone if everyone were considered human, but we are called white and black not human or equal, and the majority in this country do not want to give up their white privelege.

I, myself, NEVER defend racism,but if you're going to whip out the race card,make sure you have proof to back it up.Your husband is getting these comments from ignorant people.I get these comments from people and my own family,"Why can't you find an American man,what do you see in that "cholito"(country boy) anyway ? According to my anthropology professors,racism was "designed" by early scientists who were eager to point out the differences between the races and made all these generalizations about everybody.

What was said is that no evidence has been shown on this thread, not by you or anyone else, to suggest that a black person is at any sort of greater disadvantage vis-a-vis immigration into the United States- as either the petitioner or the beneficiary- than any other person in any kind of mixed race relationship.

Furthermore, please don't suggest that because I'm white, I've never experienced racism or mistreatment on account of my race. I lived in the backwaters of northern Japan for years and I've been stereotyped, slurred, barred entry, profiled and detained by police, and plain old discriminated against because of my race more times than I can remember.

To OP, I'm sorry you feel your visa struggle is more difficult because of your skin differences.

I am very white and my husband is a beautiful black Latino. I was with him at the K-1 interview and we were grilled -- not because he is black, but he comes from a HIGH fraud country.

To the "potential fraud" issues you quoted, the CO is looking at all potential issues. For example, there are cultures where a man/woman marrying outside their culture is not the norm and may be frowned upon. The CO may ask, how does your family feel about you not marrying a _______? He/she should be prepared for this kind of questioning.

Not sure where in the US you are, but IMO there are states/cities in the US where it is easier to be an black/white couple.

Years ago I dated a black man who had studied in Russia. He said he was a rarity and was stared at - more in a curious than mean way.

I'd worry less about the racism - it may exist, but you cannot change the world - and more about gathering your evidence and being prepared for all/any interviews.

You, my dear, are a racist yourself, and I must say, you yourself will perpetrate racism with your attitude. I say this with all sincerity: you need some therapy for your anger issues and your very skewered perceptions of what most of 'white America' thinks/feels/etc. Look around....A half black man won the popular vote for President.
