Shart is another good made up word

As is Cankle.

Oh, come on, I need context, give me context!

It means calf and ankle I think (women who have those lower legs where there doesn't appear to be a distinction between the two)

I shouldn't but I'm going to, that image is

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

speaking as a qualified bridge construction inspector, i can tell you not many bridge mechanics are hispanic.

 it all makes sense now

I am certified to inspect under AWS welded construction codes, ASME boiler codes, ASNT NDE ultrasonic and mag particle codes, etc. I am also certified to weld in any position with FCAW and SMAW practice. I don't work with bridges these days, but have in the past.

I have heard of you guys. My dad a civil engineer, does design work, worked on bridges back in the 70s.

bridge inspectors are the guys who throw unqualified mechanics off of job sites so that bridges do not fall down when people drive across them. we reject faulty work no matter who is doing it, and keep shoddy workmanship in the housing industry, where it belongs. i work with mining equipment and specialise in heavy castings and precision turning these days, but have enough experience to know a good metal worker when i see one.

sorry to dissapoint the anti-white readership here, but i can say without a shadow of a doubt that hispanic applicants do not test as well as whites under the rules of any welding code i know of, nor do they read drawings well, operate heavy equipment well, or show up on time well. some whites and some blacks also fail these basic tests, but whites and blacks don't fail in such high percentages. this statement based on many years of experience in the field, working as a welder, erector, supervisor, and inspector.

i don't care what color a person working under my direction or inspection is. if their work is #######, i will personally throw them off the job by their shirt collar. i have done this many times. i have done or seen it done with hispanics in higher proportion. some apparently because they don't want to work, and some apparently because they haven't been taught the basic skills required for the work. what i see is what i see. you been on the road as long as i have, tell me it's different. you been behind a desk in an affirmative action office, shut up and get a real job.

I diagnose a serious case of Hispaneria! I prescribe a period of isolation in case of cross infection.

Interesting post, I fail to see how it's relevant to the post you were presumably responding to.

Generalize much?!?! Funny you should say this as my husband, a very non-white, hispanic currently works building bridges. He went to that job after working in housing construction. He showed up on the job and after the first day they made him lead man. Said he's the only one they trust to be in charge. Oddly enough the rest of the guys that work there are all white. Funny how hispanics don't really know how to do that sort of stuff. He must be a fcuking genius. OMG VJ!!!! I'm married to a fcuking genius!!! I can't believe I got that lucky.

I know, imagine that. And all this time I thought I had $hitty luck. I didn't realize how good I had it. I'll have to go home and give him something extra special for being so fcuking smart. And for allowing me to be his wife.
