After all the crying, carping and complaining about learning how to drive, now she isn't so sure it is for her  Can someone please put me out of my misery

Still wonder why the state DMV has the authority to issue a driver's license when they have zero liability if they issue a license to an idiot. Seems to me, the organization that accepts the liability in the event of an accident should be issuing that license.

This came up in my court case when I was hit by a kid where it was stated he shouldn't have never been issued a license, he was mentally retarded, DVM did take it back, but I wasn't allowed to sue them.

Never think about things like this until you experience them.

Another thing I found to be stupid is this new medical privacy act, have no idea how the defending attorney was able to dig up my entire medical history from the day I was born, even my military health records, was trying to find a precondition so would escape paying claims, even knew I sprained my ankle in high school football, I completely forgot about that. Point is, my court case is on public record with my entire medical history on file for anyone to look at, so much for privacy.

Yet another bit of a shock, while I had a good health insurance policy and an accident insurance policy that covered all my medical bills, their attorneys showed up at my hearing and got all of their money back off the top of my claim. Need the health insurance, but wondered why I was paying for accident insurance. Still have it, in case it's my fault. Maybe we are better off walking, over 40,000 are still killed on the highways each year, those are easy, but over a million are injured, and some severely, those are messy.

I've been married several  times and none have been as strange as being married to a Filipina.

How about you choat [choke] her, like you mentioned in your other thread?

Perhaps she isn't that interested cause you keep mocking her attempts. Just a thought.

Hehe patience Jasman!

Hubby started teaching me soon after I arrived and I took the test right after I got my EAD and passed.

A year later, I think I'm a pretty good driver, but Justin still gets on my nerves with giving me directions way in advance like if I'm not paying attention

But everyone at work loves it when I drive when we go somewhere because they say I drive very well, so there :P

Saludos,

Caro
