Received 10yr GC

Gary received his 10yr Greencard yesterday. No mistakes other then they put Ireland instead of Northern Ireland for country of birth. So we filled out an I-90 and sent it back to be corrected.

Now my question is, Gary is going back home Feb 9 for a visit. Should he make an Infopass appt and get the stamp in his passport OR just bring his extension letter with. We reckon the stamp would be easier?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

The green card should do the trick, what's the point of the stamp?

All he has is the expired GC, as we had to send the 10yr one back for correction.

I guess i was just wondering if the stamp will be easier instead of bringing extension letter.

Oh, didn't know you sent it back. The extension letter should be good enough but then again, its better to be save than sorry.
