Hi,

I filed the 1-129 in July and received the NOA1 stating that they recieved my paper work on July 15, 2008. Since then I haven't heard a word from the VSC! I am filing for my fiance in India. Has anyone else filing for their fiance in India, heard any news lately?

BTW, what is the meaning of being "touched"?

Hi. I filed for my fiancée at the end of September. He is also in India. I have not had a touch or anything. Touched means that your file was handled by someone. Could be just moving it from one desk to another. Feel lucky you have even had a touch. I have read a lot of people on here saying sometimes they go through even without a touch. You have hit the 6 month mark so I would suggest calling your congressman or senator. I just did that today and am going in to see them on Monday. They may be able to help you. Good luck.

Well, actually..I don't know if I've been "touched". How do you know if that happens?
